Diversity is not about how we differ. Diversity is about embracing one another’s uniqueness.

Studies have conclusively proved that diverse organizations are more successful organizations. Empirical evidence reveals that diversity—heterogeneity in race, culture, gender, etc.—has material benefits for organizations, communities, and nations. However, Diversity also brings an inherent amount of conflict with the status quo, the subconscious biases, and the need to create a more inclusive environment. Multiple organizations have started diversity programs with little or no success.

 A recent study by Boston Consulting Group notes that “the real problem is that many organizations simply don’t know which measures are most effective in improving diversity.

Seema Lakhtakia

HR thought leader with over 23 years of experience in leading and setting up HR practices in diverse industry verticals. 

Since 2013,  Seema has focused her efforts on DEI ( Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) and Sustainability. She has worked extensively on empowering careers of women, through women supportive policies, mentoring, coaching and enablement of socially marginalized groups and Persons with Disabilities in the professional mainstream. Sustainability has been another area of focus over the past years. Seema’s contribution towards this global agenda spans from creating awareness and building strategies and action plans on sustainability  for institutions and organizations. 

Recently completed the ‘Executive Education  Program’ on ‘ Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies’ from the Judge School of Business, Cambridge University, U. K.  

Sneh Sharma  

Sneh has over 24 years of global experience in HR. A serial Entrepreneur with work experience across geographies (US, Middle East & India),she has been involved with all aspects of HR both as an entrepreneur as also being a part of diverse corporations.  

In her last corporate stint, she was in the role of Head of Diversity and Inclusion for Tata Teleservices (part of the multi-billion dollar Tata Group) to enhance the participation of women in the workplace and create a secure environment through training on Gender sensitization, Subconscious Biases and Implementation of POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment).  

She was also founder of Metis Outsourcing Solutions Company, an End-to-End HR Outsourcing company. Metis worked for India’s leading companies and startups for over a decade. 

Sneh has expertise in different roles across other sub-functions of HR including  

  • Talent Acquisition and Management 
  • Cultural Changes / OD 
  • Mergers and Acquisitions, and  
  • Design of Process & Policy 
  • HR Outsourcing
